A soul appeared

From UBC Wiki

There was no milk in the fridge. The KD was boiling, my cheese sauce ready when I realized the unfortunate truth: my roommate is a terrible human being.

That is how I ended up at the back of the store, a cruel trick used by marketers to make sure I pass all the cookies, chips, pop and delectable delights that could fill my basket if I let the food sirens beckon me forward. As I opened the door to get my 2L of milk I noticed a person standing beside me. Hie eyes bore into me and at that moment I knew I was going to kick my roommate's butt when I got home.

"Can I help you?" I asked, my eyebrow raised to show my lack of amusement.

The man said nothing, but continued to stare. My skin felt clammy even though logically it made no sense for me to be sweating in such a refrigerated section of the store.

"Who are you?" I decided was a better question. He remained silent and unmoving. At that moment I realized that a soul had appeared. My worse nightmare come to life. I had a ghost following me. Damn.
